About Emily
Emily trained with the Sussex Mindfulness Centre to teach Adapted Mindfulness-based Interventions. This NHS-based training is for people who wish to teach mindfulness-based approaches safely and effectively in a broad variety of populations.
Supervision and ongoing engagement with a personal mindfulness practice are named as the two key elements of good practice for mindfulness practitioners; Emily is committed to both.
In addition to her teaching Emily works as a Content and Media Manager for a national mental health charity supporting educators. She also holds a Master of Design from the University of Brighton and founded Femigami, a workshop series using paper-folding to spark stigma shaking conversations.
The common thread connecting Emily’s roles is a desire to help people feel more comfortable, confident and connected in their daily lives.
Please read this essential information and these important questions before attending a mindfulness session with Emily, thank you.
