About Emily
Emily trained with the Sussex Mindfulness Centre to teach Adapted Mindfulness-based Interventions. This NHS-based training is for people who wish to teach mindfulness-based approaches safely and effectively, with a trauma-informed approach.
Supervision and ongoing engagement with a personal mindfulness practice are named as the two key elements of good practice for mindfulness practitioners. Emily is committed to both.
Emily also holds a Master of Design (MDes) from the University of Brighton, writes for a national mental health charity supporting educators, and has over seven years’ experience leading her creative, mindfulness-based workshop series, Femigami.
The common thread connecting Emily’s roles is a desire to help people feel more comfortable, confident and connected in their daily lives.
Emily is fully covered by Professional Indemnity and Public Liability Insurance.
